Pest Prevention Tips

Store pantry products like cereal, flour, rice, pasta, etc., in a Ziploc bag or sealed container. In the event that you have a contaminated product, it will be quarantined to that item, saving you the trouble and expense of throwing all food items away.

Make sure that food preparation areas and pet food areas are kept clean. Roaches and ants are scavenging opportunists.

Keep landscape plants and tree branches off of and away from the structure, making it as difficult as possible for pests to enter.

Reduce or eliminate unnecessary exterior lighting. Flying insects, and subsequently the spiders that feed on them, are attracted to nighttime lights.
