    • What Can You Do for Mosquitoes?

Our MosquitoGARD (General Area Reduction and Deployment) program will provide a significant reduction in adult mosquito populations around your home, but complete extermination is an unrealistic objective for these flying insects, and we don’t promise or guarantee for that. Our program includes:

      • Mosquito Fogging – Every 45 day application to resting areas for management of both daytime and nighttime mosquitos.

      • Inzecto Traps – Deployment of traps to control daytime biting mosquitos such as Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus, which may vector disease. These pots attract, control, and sterilize adult female mosquitoes to control populations.

      • Identify and target breading spots with growth regulator pellets to prevent larval development.

    • Do You Go Inside the Home?

Only if necessary to target or control an interior pest problem. An appointment will be set up with our technician and we take every measure to minimize our presence inside.

    • What Does Perimeter Pest Control Service Provide?

We target pests on the outside of your home and structure to keep populations low, so they don’t seek out food and harborage inside. The technician will remove spider webs, apply a residual spray barrier, and identify and target potential pest problems with baits.

  • Lawn

    • How Much Water Does My Lawn Need?

This really depends on how well your soil drains, but generally ¾” to 1” per cycle. Irrigate twice a week during the daylight savings time and once a week during standard time. Monitor the rainfall and adjust accordingly. The appearance of your lawn will also indicate the moisture in the soil. Dry conditions will result in curled up leaf blades that first appear gray before transitioning to brown as they dry out.

    • Should I Mow My Grass Right Before or After an Application?

For best results, mowing should be done a couple of days before or a couple of days after the application. This will allow for the systemic products to get into actively growing turf and weeds.

    • What Is the Best Height to Cut My Lawn?

Optimum height for Bahia grass and St. Augustine grass is 3” to 4” with a rotary mower. Zoysia grass and Bermuda grass are cut at 1” to 2” and require a reel mower. Mowing frequency is roughly once a week from April through October and every other week during the dormant season.

    • With the Summer Fertilizer Ban, Should I Skip These Applications?

While nitrogen is not part of our mix during the summer, we continue providing micronutrients such as iron and manganese that are beneficial for turf vigor and color. Also, chinch bugs and weeds are at their peak during the summer and our spray program provides coverage for both.

    • Can My Backyard That Is on a Water Body Still Be Serviced?

Depending on your location, ordinances prohibit nitrogen and phosphorous within 10' to 15' of water bodies and even up to 25' along the lagoon. However, they do not prohibit the application of nutritional supplements, insecticide or weed control. Per Green Industry Best Management Practices, a 3' Ring of Responsibility will be observed near water. This buffer protects against accidental direct contamination.

    • Is the Rain Going to Wash Away the Lawn Application?

Most turf applications require irrigation of ½” to ¾” to move the materials into the thatch and grass for results. We monitor weather conditions as best we can to avoid applications in conditions that may exceed 1” of rainfall. We do offer a retreatment guarantee for results but need to follow the label recommendations for re-application which is generally 21 days.

    • Do I Need to Be Home?

If we can access the areas to be serviced, whether that is the turf or plants in the backyard or the entire perimeter of the structure for pest control, you don't need to be home.

    • Do I Have to Sign a Contract?

We have agreements that outline the service program, frequency, coverage, and billing terms. The agreement may be canceled at any point.
